$BOB
IS HOME

In 1995, Windows released its first companion: Bob, a cartoon house with a dog named Rover to guide you through it. It failed within a year. Now Bob is back on Robinhood Chain, paired against the stock of the company that killed him.

Why $BOB — Properties

SIX REASONS
BOB COMES HOME

Microsoft Bob was the friendliest software ever shipped and the market destroyed it. Same energy, different market.

PAIRED WITH $MSFT

Every $BOB trade routes against tokenized Microsoft stock on Robinhood Chain. Bob finally works at Microsoft again, and this time he brings volume.

LAUNCHED ON PONS

Fixed supply, ETH-denominated bonding curve, tradable from the first block. No presale games, no private round, no team unlock cliff.

LIQUIDITY LOCKED

LP is locked and the deployer holds no hidden bag. The house does not get sold out from under you. (Edit this claim in the HTML once your lock is live.)

ZERO TAX FOREVER

0% buy, 0% sell. Bob never charged you $5 a month for fifteen emails. Wait, actually he did. This time he doesn’t.

SUB-SECOND, SUB-CENT

Robinhood Chain finalizes faster than Bob’s 1995 install wizard drew a single frame, and gas costs less than a floppy disk.

THE MASCOT IS A DOG

Rover shipped in 1995, survived into Windows XP search, and outlived the product he was built for. He is the most patient dog in software history.

The Legend of Bob — Read Only

THE LEGEND

Three chapters. One dog. Thirty-one years of being early.

CHAPTER 11995

The House

March 10, 1995. Microsoft ships Bob: not a desktop, a home. Rooms you could redecorate. A clock that opened your calendar. A cartoon dog named Rover who explained everything in a speech balloon.

It needed 8 MB of RAM in a world that had 4. It was, in every sense, too early.

CHAPTER 21996

The Rug Pull

Around 58,000 copies sold. Bob was discontinued within a year, then spent decades on every “worst product ever” list humans could compile: #7 at PC World, #1 of the decade at CNET.

Microsoft went on to be worth trillions. The house went dark. Nobody let the dog out.

CHAPTER 3NOW

Bob Comes Home

Bob reboots on Robinhood Chain, launched on Pons and paired against tokenized MSFT, the stock of the company that shut him down.

Every candle is a receipt. The friendliest interface ever shipped now settles on-chain, and the dog is finally getting paid.

FUN
FACT

Comic Sans exists because of Bob. In 1994, Microsoft designer Vincent Connare saw a beta of Bob where Rover’s speech bubbles were set in Times New Roman and thought a cartoon dog shouldn’t talk in a newspaper font. He drew a new typeface over a weekend, inspired by the hand lettering in comics like Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns. It still missed Bob: the letters didn’t fit the text boxes Bob’s UI was already built around, so the final release shipped with Times New Roman after all. Comic Sans debuted instead in Microsoft 3D Movie Maker, then rode the Windows 95 Plus! Pack onto millions of PCs. Bob failed. Bob’s font won.

Bob Help Topics

HELP TOPICS

What is $BOB?
A memecoin about Microsoft Bob, the 1995 “social interface” that replaced your desktop with a cartoon house. It is a community token on Robinhood Chain, launched via Pons and paired with tokenized MSFT. It is not a company, a product, or an investment scheme.
Why is it paired with MSFT?
Because Pons V2 supports tokenized stock pairs, and pairing Bob against the stock of the company that discontinued him is the entire joke. It also means $BOB price action is quoted against a real, liquid asset instead of another meme.
Is there a tax or a team allocation?
Zero buy tax, zero sell tax. Distribution is published on this page. Check the Tokenomics window and verify it on-chain yourself before buying anything.
Where do I buy it?
On Pons, on Robinhood Chain. Always paste the contract address from the top of this page. Never trust a link from a DM, and never trust a token that appears in your wallet on its own.
Is this affiliated with Microsoft?
No. $BOB is an independent community meme project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Microsoft Corporation in any way. “Microsoft”, “Microsoft Bob” and “MSFT” are used here descriptively and remain the property of their owners.
Will Rover ever shut up?
No. That was the entire problem in 1995 and we have chosen to preserve it faithfully. You can close his bubble though. That’s more than 1995 let you do.
